Well, you are lucky if you loved the romance and espionage drama of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith! Guess what? It is being adapted into a TV series and is all set to premiere in February 2024!
The adaptation of the movie into a TV series stars Maya Erskine And Donald Glover in lead roles. You will see a fresh take on the espionage and romance that kickstarted the affair and the relationship between Pitt and Jolie all those years ago!
Amazon Prime is hosting the series, and ofcourse, the movie is damn good, but it was due to being the backdrop of one of the popular love stories in Hollywood that led to all that charisma and curiosity.
The series is all set now that the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and Writers Guild of America strikes have ended! Besides playing the lead role in the series, Donald Glover is also an executive producer.

The series’ name might be the same as the movie, but it has been claimed that the series is a fresh take on the story told in the film. One major change the series has implemented is that the two lead characters work independently for a spy agency.
It is due to their job and its successful execution that they have to play the part of a married couple, so basically, the couple knows each other’s identity and are acting for the outside world of travel, a home in New York, espionage, and wealth. Their stories go from pretense to love!
Unlike the original in which the couple were actually in love and were married, but worked for two enemy spy agencies and later discovered that while they were on the job. They hid the most important part of their profession from their spouses.
The little twist will matter and give the audience a fresh take on the storyline. Overall, the challenges of a relationship will be effectively told.
