An unreleased track by the band Guns N’Roses was leaked during the weekend. At the same time, the fans were waiting for the song “Perhaps” to be released on 11th August. But instead, they got a link for the track on the Universal Music sites, which has since been deleted.

‘Perhaps’ is a track that hails from the era of ‘Chinese Democracy’ from fifteen years ago. Fans were allowed to pre-save the song on Apple Music and Spotify, but ‘Perhaps’ was not officially released on any streaming platform.

Many bars in the US have heard the song on the digital jukebox, TouchTunes, that appeared as a single’s artwork. However, the band did not officially confirm the song’s release.

Guns N’Roses previously released two tracks in 2021, Hard Skool and Absurd. Both of the tracks were outtakes that were reworked from the 2008’s ‘Chinese Democracy’ era. During their headline set, the band played both of these tracks at the Glastonbury Festival.

Slash, guitarist of Guns N’Roses, previously admitted that he and his band members have not written any new songs since reuniting. Slash had previously given a teaser of new music from the hard-rock band.

Slash and Duff reunited with the band in 2016 to perform for the ‘Not in This Lifetime… Tour’.

In an interview with Audacy in 2021, he said, “As far as new Guns is concerned; we haven’t even gotten to that point of really in earnest sitting down and writing.”

He added, “We’ve been doing a lot of material that’s been sort of sitting around for a while. So that will be a whole focused endeavor unto itself.” Slash, Duff Mckagain, and Axl Rose released their last studio album in 1993 called ‘The Spaghetti Incident.’

At the Glastonbury festival this June, the ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ rockers performed a rendition of ‘Paradise City’ along with Dave Grohl as the special guest.
