The Voice Season 24 coaches sang a ‘70s classic song by The Eagles ahead of the season 24 premiere. Gwen Stefani, John Legend, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire together sang the rendition of “Take It Easy.” The coaches put on an amazing performance ahead of the new season.

The Eagles Classic song performance started with Niall Horan, singing the introduction lyrics that highlighted his versatility when he sang with a country style. Then John Legend joined him on the stage singing with gusto.

Gwen Stefani followed on stage crooning with a heavenly tone, and lastly singing with an exciting rasp Reba McEntire joined in. Together they harmonized during the chorus of the song and sang in unison the second verse of the song.

During the outro, the coaches hit some high notes and riffs seamlessly making it look effortlessly. ‘Take it Easy’ by The Eagles released in the year 1972 was the band’s first single titled “Take it Easy.”

This album was their debut album which was The Eagles’ signature tune even at present. The single reached the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, No. 12 position. While Rolling Stone listed ‘Take it Easy’ by The Eagles as their second-best song from The Eagles.

The Rolling Stone magazine wrote, “From its wind-in-your-sails intro to its catchphrase title, the Eagles’ first Top 20 hit embodied the band’s mellow vibe.”

“Take It Easy” by The Eagles was written by Glenn Frey and Jackson Browne. The song talks about the importance of enjoying simple things in life and not taking life very seriously. The song wants its listeners to take it easy and relax even when things get tough. The song lyrics have imagery of West America with several references to truckers, small towns, and highways. But the overall message of the song is to remind its listeners to not worry and to enjoy and appreciate life.
