The upcoming season 3 of Only Murders in the Building was released on 8th August with a leading cast including Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin. This new trilling season cast saw a few other renowned names in the industry joining the series.
Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd have joined the cast for this new season. Only Murders in the Building is an eccentric crime-solving adventure series within Arconia. The new season promises star power and more action.
With more notable actors joining the already mind-blowing cast of the series, this season is bound to be great. In an interview, John Hoffman, the program’s creator, reveals the details about this season. While the previous seasons 1-2 focused on Charles and Mabel, this season 3 will focus more on Oliver’s desire.
The last season ended with the leading actor (Paul Rudd) of Oliver Putnam’s Broadway production falling dead on the stage while the opening-night performance was going on. This season will continue with the events following the leading actor’s death.
Only Murders in the Building, season 3, will see Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin try to solve this murder mystery with their superb wit and killer chemistry. However, the death of Glenroy that occurred outside the building is interlinked with the leading actor’s murder.
Extra focus on theatrics will offer refreshing complications between the dynamics of Charles-Oliver-Mabel. While Season 2 revealed Cinda’s true identity through the crime-solving squad, along with revealing the identity of Poppy. Poppy was revealed to be the enigmatic Becky Butler, who made the plan to kill Bunny. Poppy carried out the plan along with Detective Kreps, her partner-in-crime who wanted fame through a murder-solving podcast. The season’s climax skipped a year but laid the groundwork for season 3 to develop the story.
