Forza Horizon 5’s Winter Wonderland Series

Forza Horizon 5 kicks off its Winter Wonderland Series, transforming Mexico into a Narnia-like landscape with four weeks of continuous winter. Aptly named “Winter Wonderland,” Series 28 introduces a snow-covered map with snow-capped peaks and dry weather, creating a unique driving experience.

The Horizon Stadium undergoes a winter makeover featuring mounds of snow, igloos, a toboggan run, and a special circuit. This seasonal transformation brings a fresh and festive vibe to the game, promising a winter wonderland experience for players.

Series 28 brings back the popular Secret Santa event for the third year, encouraging players to exchange vehicle gifts at a specific location in the Stadium. Participants can earn global bonus rewards, including the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 and a “secret” car for reaching gifting milestones.

In addition to the seasonal festivities, players can look forward to four new vehicles, including one making its debut in Forza Horizon and three returning favorites. These cars are available as rewards in the Playlist, and collecting all four unlocks an Evolving World Accolade.

A new paid DLC pack, “Fast X,” adds excitement with four vehicles from the tenth Fast and Furious film and a three-axle “Flip Car” inspired by the movie’s sixth installment.

Winter/Dry Season Rewards and Challenges

The Winter Wonderland Series introduces enticing rewards and challenges. Players can earn the Porsche Mission R concept and the 2011 Koenigsegg Agera, both high-performance speed machines, by accumulating points in the winter season.

New-to-title cars include the Lotus 2-Eleven and the MG6 XPower sports sedan, offering diverse driving experiences. Seasonal Championships, PR Stunts, and Season Events provide players with opportunities to showcase their skills and win exciting rewards.

Forzathon Events and Weekly Challenges

The Forzathon Weekly Challenge, “Driven by Dreams,” centers around the 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4. Players must complete various tasks, including earning Speed Skills at the Winter Wonderland Stadium and winning a race on the designated track.

Daily Challenges throughout the winter season offer additional points and rewards, encouraging players to engage in various activities, from visiting the Winter Wonderland Stadium to winning road racing circuit races.

Winter Playlist: Season Events and Multiplayer Challenges

The Winter Playlist features a variety of events, including PR Stunts, Seasonal Championships, EventLabs, and Horizon Arcade. Players can earn points by participating in these events, unlocking new cars, and bonuses.

The multiplayer challenge, “The Trial: Playtime’s Over,” requires teamwork against Highly Skilled AI in S1 Class Track Toys. Successful completion rewards players with a 2004 Porsche Carrera GT.

Monthly Events and Bonus DLC Events

Monthly Rivals events offer players a chance to showcase their skills and earn points with clean runs using specified cars. DLC expansions provide additional challenges, Seasonal Championships, and PR Stunts, allowing DLC owners to accumulate up to 14 bonus points.

Forzathon Shop Highlights

In the Forzathon Shop, players can acquire premium Italian racing cars, the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 and the iconic Ferrari F50. These high-value vehicles are available at discounted Forzathon Points, providing a unique opportunity for players to enhance their car collection.

Winter in Forza Horizon 5 brings an array of thrilling events, rewards, and challenges, making it an exciting time for players to immerse themselves in the winter wonderland of Mexico.
