‘Thank U, Next’ singer Ariana Grande and real estate broker Dalton Gomez after two years of marriage have filed for divorce. Recently several reports were doing rounds on the internet claiming the couple are headed for divorce. These reports seem to have proven true as the couple filed for their divorce in the U.S. court.
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez were married for two years but during July reports of the couple’s separation started speculating. These speculations started after a well-known media house in the UK reported that the couple were “heading for divorce.”
Ariana Grande removed all her wedding pictures from her Instagram platform after these reports started doing rounds online resulting in making the claim stronger. Ariana Grande was said to be dating Ethan Slater after her breakup with Dalton.
But more speculations surrounded the new dating news with claims that the relationship between Slater and Grande started before Ariana split with her husband, Dalton Gomez. According to reports Grande and Slater met while filming a movie based on the musical ‘Wicked in London.’
Ethan Slater plays the role of Boq while Ariana Granda plays the witch Glinda in the movie. As per a report from Mirror.co.uk Laura Wasser who is Ariana Grande’s lawyer filed for divorce first on 18th September citing irreconcilable differences has been listed as the reason for the divorce. Shortly after Dalton Gomez’s lawyer filed for divorce.
It’s said that both parties have worked out their issues before legally filing for the divorce. Some sources have speculated that the Thank U, Next singer will give Gomez a check for an undisclosed amount to put an end to their two-year relationship.
The couple had a prenup agreement so the break up seems to go smoothly. The official separation date has been given as 20th February 2023 which is five months before the divorce and romance rumors.
