This is a very simple and quick way to track a phone number. All you have to do is type the number into a search engine, or a directory, and from there you’ll see a list that’s associated with that number.

You could’ve used Google’s phonebook search operator – ask it to do a reverse phone lookup. But in November, Google shut down the phonebook operator, because many people found themselves there and sent request to have them removed from the directory. This thing made it hard for people to find other people, but there are still many ways to find a person on Google.
Type the full phone number
Also, the area code. You’ll probably get the number in a lot of different phone directories. But Google also changed the way they list the phone numbers, so here’s how to work with what we have:
If the number is of a business, then the business will show up first.
If the number is of a private household, then the address will not show up together with the number. But if the person has put the number somewhere on the internet – may be a social network site – then you’ll see that listing on your results.

If you know the name of the person, you can use Google to do a free address and phone number search. Type the full name of the person, together with their zip code. You’ll probably receive back a phone number, an address, and even Google Maps with directions to the residence. If the person has not made their address public, you won’t get it with other info that you might have access to.
Is it really working?
There are many people out there who have said that they had success doing it, however, you need to keep in mind that, if the phone number comes from a cell phone, or if the number is not listed, then you probably won’t find it online.
Remember not to pay for this kind of information. There are many sites on the internet that will ask you for money to get access to this kind of information – the one you can find by yourself on Google.
