Logan Paul is all set to lock horns for a big title match at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event. He will be taking on Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship. Logan Paul could easily go upto WWE, as a feud has been in a discussion involving a big name.
Paul tends to resurface ahead of a big pay-per-view but is absent from WWE TV otherwise. His taking the title and leaving would do a disservice to SmackDown at a time when the Undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns also appears infrequently.
Ultimately, the endgame for Paul as U.S. champion should be for him to drop it to LA Knight, who he’s had quality chemistry with in the past and is bound to be on a collision course with heading into WrestleMania 40.
Although the star-spangled prize would suit him well, it’s imperative he competes more consistently as champ compared to the part-time schedule he’s had so far in WWE.
Insider Boozer Rasslin’ revealed on X about the early discussions of bringing Logan Paul and Kevin Owens into the ring. This report was later backed up on Friday Night SmackDown. Paul and Owens caught eyes backstage briefly, which teased a potential showdown in the near future.
Owen and Paul have a history with one another, which goes back to Paul’s first-ever appearance in WWE. During the WrestleMania 37 feud between Owens and his best friend, Sami Zayn, Paul got brought in by him. It helped him back up his conspiracy theory of the WWE machine being rigged against him. He sat ringside as Zayn’s guest during their match, although Paul ended up shoving Zayn after the bell. He raised Owen’s hand, and to the delight of the fans, Owens gave him a stunner. Paul is selling better now than ever.
