So, grab the popcorn and mark your calendars because here are the must-watch kids’ movies of 2024!
1. Frozen III
Starring: Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel

Yes, Elsa and Anna are back!
In Frozen III, the sisters will set off on a new magical adventure in Arendelle. After finally reuniting and learning about Elsa’s powers in Frozen II, it’s time!
Let’s go back into the past of the Arendelle sisters!
This movie will feature more ice magic than ever before as the two sisters work together to unlock hidden secrets. This will be alongside fighting off new enemies that threaten their beloved home!
Of course, with kids growing up and getting older this movie will surely captivate the adults just as much.
2. Minions: The Rise Of Gru 2

Certainly, the kids movies 2024, which almost every adult is excited about! We cannot wait to become kids again, as we glued our eyes and laughed at the screen.
The little yellow Minions are back in what promises to be even more hilarious havoc!
After the release of Minions: The Rise of Gru, the Minions join forces with a young Gru to take on more outrageous endeavors.
Yes, you can expect gut-wrenching laughter, over-the-top action scenes, and those adorable nonsensical one-liners the Minions come up with that have everyone in stitches.
The Rise of Gru will likely be another animated joyride with several sweet moments thrown in for good measure.
3. Toy Story 5

When we thought Woody and Buzz had waved their final farewell, Toy Story 5 was ready to return.
If only it could make us well up all over again!

How will things continue post-life after Toy Story 4’s tearful ending?

4. The Secret Life Of Pets 3

The hilarious and imaginative world of The Secret Life of Pets is back again, this time, it returns for a third installment.
Here starts the groans from parents everywhere who will have to sit through yet another hour and a half of animated stickiness!
But some like me would just enjoy it!
This time, however, is a little different as the gang must come to terms with some big life changes their humans are going through.
Which means it’s no longer all about Max. We thought this one’s well worth a trip to the cinema this month if only because Louis C.K has been replaced. (For all the right causes!)
5. Paw Petrol

6. Kung Fu Panda 4
Starring: Jack Black, Angelina Jolie
Forget about the kids; even the adults are excited about watching this animated masterpiece on the big screens again.
The lovably clueless Panda bear returns to our screens in Kung Fu Panda. Once again, Po the Panda will encounter a fresh mystical villain who threatens to wreak havoc in the Valley of Peace (and Po’s own personal journey.)
Can’t wait to see him using all his kung fu skills and even learn some new ones with the help of his colorful buddies.
More conquering of evil forces and tackling the biggest threats!
The franchise inevitably delivers excellent animation, an uplifting tale about friendship, plenty of comedy (courtesy of Jack Black), and some engaging action sequences – what’s not to like?
7. Zootopia 2

In 2024, we’re going back to Zootopia!
Finally, we have our Zootopia sequel. Again, it is one of the kid’s movies 2024, which not only excites the kid!
The sequel will see Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde solve more mysteries and navigate the pitfalls of their mammal metropolis home along the way.
But do not be surprised if you get emotional throughout the movie. Although, fun crimes and adventures spread throughout. The team bonding between our favorite fox and bunny will certainly be an emotional rollercoaster!
Yes, but with a whole lot of laughs, too.
8. Inside Out 2
Starring: Amy Poehler, Bill Hader
Prepare for a wild emotional ride because Inside Out is coming back with a part two!
If you have watched the first season, you will know how exciting the concept is. The complexities of the human psyche are simplified in these movies. It not only makes the kids laugh, but the adults question a few of their feelings (…in a good way, I mean!)
Inside Out 2 reintroduces us to Riley as she is now in her teenage years, still ruled by Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear.
This time, however, we go even deeper into the human brain psyche, with the story focusing on the new human emotions that arrive throughout the new experiences we have when growing up. (*cough* *cough* anxiety, *wink* *wink* envy).
Get ready to meet these two new emotions, which I believe is everything you would expect from a Pixar movie. Plus, you will also find heartwarming scenes mixed with funny comic moments suitable for kids and adults.
9. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 3
Starring: Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld
IMDb Score for Previous Films: 8.9/10 (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, 2018)
The multiverse is set to reach a whole other level in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 3!
The first two movies were mind-bending, but this third film will blow our minds even more as we follow everybody’s favorite web-slinger, Miles Morales.
It’ll have plenty of action and laughs for kids and absolutely awe-inspiring visuals for everyone else.
We will get to see some of our favorite returning characters and even more new Spider-People. This one you or your kids can’t afford to miss!
