The car has been improved in various aspects, but the acceleration has become slower compared to the older versions.
Compared to the 2021 Subaru 2021, the new Subaru WRX STI speeds up from 0 to 60 mph within 5.8. The 2021 model only took 4.4 seconds to hit the same speed limit.
