Ooty, Coonoor, and Yercaud are both within a 100-km radius from the city making them perfect day trip destinations. Munnar, famous for its tea estates and considered one of the most romantic getaways in South India is just 142 km away. Other hill stations near the city include Kodaikanal, Valparai, and Kotagiri.
